THE ACADEMY

Glass City Pilates® Licensing Center Pathway

Before movement, there is a foundation. Before teaching, there is study.

The Glass City Pilates Mat Work Academy exists to cultivate exceptional Pilates teachers who
understand that legacy, safety and efficacy are the heart of the Method.

We do not rush to equipment. We begin where Joseph Pilates began—on the mat, with the

principles. Our selective program is built on the non-negotiable belief that effective, forward-
thinking teaching is only possible after an unshakable foundation of fundamentals.

Here, you will not simply learn sequences. You will develop the teacher’s eye for movement
analysis, master the art of precision, correction, and modification, and learn to conduct
thoughtful client assessments. You will graduate not merely as an instructor, but as a confident
advocate for the work—equipped to guide diverse bodies and real-world clients safely,
intelligently, and effectively toward their goals.

Our path is disciplined, intentional, and designed for those who respect the work enough to learn
it from the ground up.
